Bill thinking, with a question mark

About Meet Bill

What is Meet Bill?
Meet Bill is a simple tool that measures the time and money your organisation spends in meetings. You start a timer when a meeting begins, pick who’s in the room, and Bill keeps a running tally of the cost — then turns it into a monthly Meeting Wrapped so you can see where your time (and money) is really going.
Who is Meet Bill for?
Small and medium businesses that hold a lot of meetings and want to know what they’re actually costing. If you run a team, a department or a whole company and you’ve ever wondered whether a standing meeting is worth it, Bill is for you.
What Meet Bill is not
Bill is not a project management platform, a productivity suite, a time-tracking or surveillance tool, an AI meeting assistant, a transcription service, or an HR platform. It does one job: it makes the invisible cost of meetings visible.

Using the timer

How does the meeting timer work?
Every organisation gets its own short link (something like meetbill.co/go/your-org). Open that link, type the meeting name, pick how long it’s scheduled for, tap the people who are in the room, and press Start. Bill counts the minutes and shows the running cost. When the meeting ends, it’s logged against your organisation.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes — the timer is built for phones. Open your organisation link on an iPhone or Android, tap your browser’s Share button and choose “Add to Home Screen”. You get a Meet Bill icon that opens straight onto your own meeting page, full screen, with no address bar. The screen stays awake while a meeting runs, and the buttons are sized for thumbs.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Meet Bill is a web app — you just open the link. Adding it to your home screen makes it feel like an app, but there’s nothing to download from an app store and no updates to manage.
Can I add my company logo?
Yes. When you set up your organisation you can upload a company logo, and you can change or remove it any time from your dashboard. The logo appears on your start-a-meeting page so people recognise it’s their company.

Costs and pricing

How are meeting costs calculated?
Bill works out an estimated employment cost per hour for your organisation and multiplies it by the number of people in the room and the length of the meeting. The hourly figure blends an average salary with a modest uplift for employer on-costs (like National Insurance and pension), so it’s a fair estimate of what an hour of your team’s time costs the business — not just salary. You can see the full method and sources on the Why Bill? page.
How much does Meet Bill cost?
We keep the pricing simple and transparent: one yearly price, with monthly plans available if you prefer. Prices are shown in pounds in the UK and in US dollars elsewhere — you’ll see the exact figure on the home page under Pricing.

That’s less than the cost of a few hours of admin time. If Bill saves your organisation even 1% of the time and resource currently lost to inefficient meetings, it’s already paid for itself.

No complicated pricing. No hidden costs. Just a tool that should more than pay for itself. The meeting timer is free to use; paid plans add the dashboard, Meeting Wrapped and history.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Payments are handled by Paddle, our payment provider. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page, access continues until the end of your current billing period, then stops. You’ll get a confirmation email from Meet Bill when you cancel.

Privacy and data

Who can see my meetings?
Only people in your organisation. Each organisation is separate, and access to your meetings, people and history is locked to members of your company. The public meeting page only lets people start and stop timers, it doesn’t expose your dashboard or totals.
Does Meet Bill track individuals?
No. Bill counts heads in a meeting, not who said what. It’s not surveillance. There’s no transcript, no recording, and no per-person performance score. The point is the aggregate cost of meeting time, so you can decide whether a meeting is worth it.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely in the cloud with row-level security, meaning the database enforces that only your organisation can read your rows. Company logos are stored privately and can only be accessed by members of the company they belong to.

Still wondering if you need Bill?

Your meetings are already costing you. Bill just helps you make sure they’re worth it.
